In the 25 years that I’ve worked with businesses I continue to hear them say, “What you’re saying won’t work for me. You don’t understand. My customers are different in my area.” I will argue that this isn’t true! We can all learn from each other.

Two questions to ask your peers at every meeting and conference are:

      What’s your biggest success and how can I learn?

      What’s your greatest challenge and how can I help?

Customers across the world share similar needs:

  • They want value.
  • They want service.
  • They want a relationship.
  • They want it to be easy to do business with you.

Don’t let this bad belief stop you from being open and vulnerable to what other business minds (including your peers!) can teach you.
